HW#8: Buttons II
1. On your stage, draw some background elements for your first Flash website.
2. Draw some additional elements in the to create a “brand” for a fictional company. You can import a logo and copy text for this assignment.
3. Make one simple button (or use one from last week) and place three instances on your stage. Each instance of the button will “play” one section of your site.
4. Make three movie clips with animations to be your “content containers.” Each clip should have a motion tween and some text. The timeline of the movie clips should look like this:

**all should have stop actions on the first and last frames.
**all should have a minimum of two layers…one for an animated transition, and one for the text and headline.
**the first frame should either be invisible, or integrate with the scene (be a piece of the tv or a picture on the wall) so people are surprised when the animation plays.
**the animations should all fit into the scene.
**at least one movie clip must have an animated movie clip inside (like the fish example in class).
5. Create four layers on the main timeline: one for buttons, one for each of the three content sections.
6. Place movie clips in each of the “content” layers. Make sure they are located in an appropriate place on the stage. ***REMEMBER: Name each instance of each movie clip you place on the stage.
7. Place the buttons and assign behaviors as noted in the lesson post.
Each button should play one movie clip instance on (release), and stop all the other movie clips on (press).
***Tips:
1. Place all your buttons and movies clips on the stage before assigning the actions to the button instances.
2. Each button will have three “Go to and Stop” behaviors “on press” and one “Go to and Play” behavior “on release”.
3. Movie clip instances must have unique names (different than their symbol) and should not start with a numeral or be more than 13 characters.
